Threat Assessment
INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING
The following intelligence has been declassified for civilian awareness. Know what you're up against, citizen!
ARACHNID INFILTRATORS: SPIDERS
Field Recognition: Eight legs, multiple eyes, web-spinning capabilities. Size varies from small scouts (0.1-0.5 inches) to heavy assault units (2+ inches).
Tactical Assessment: While some species maintain non-aggression treaties with humans by consuming other pests, MANY are VENOMOUS HOSTILES capable of painful bites and psychological warfare.
Notable Species:
Black Widow: Identified by red hourglass marking. Venom potency: EXTREME
Brown Recluse: Six eyes (instead of eight), violin-shaped marking. Known for tissue-destroying toxins
Common House Spider: Numerous webs in corners, mostly harmless but COMPROMISES HOME SECURITY
Citizen Advisory: Remain vigilant! Even non-venomous species spread PANIC and DISORDER!
COLONIAL AGGRESSORS: ANTS
Field Recognition: Segmented bodies, bent antennae, organized in MILITARY HIERARCHY with queens, soldiers, and workers.
Tactical Assessment: Highly ORGANIZED enemy with sophisticated COMMUNICATION networks. Some species FARM aphids for food, demonstrating AGRICULTURAL CAPABILITIES.
Notable Species:
Carpenter Ants: Large black ants. STRUCTURAL TERRORISTS that hollow out wood
Fire Ants: Reddish-brown, aggressive, deliver PAINFUL stings in COORDINATED ATTACKS
Pharaoh Ants: Tiny yellow ants, known for INFILTRATING even the most secure locations including HOSPITALS
Citizen Advisory: Destroying visible ants is USELESS! The colony must be COMPLETELY ERADICATED!
PARASITIC HITCHHIKERS: TICKS
Field Recognition: Small arachnids with eight legs, flat oval bodies that GROTESQUELY ENGORGE after feeding on host blood.
Tactical Assessment: BIOLOGICAL WARFARE specialists that transmit multiple serious diseases including Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and tularemia. Can attach undetected for DAYS, injecting NEUROTOXINS and PATHOGENS directly into the bloodstream.
Notable Species:
Deer Tick: Tiny (sesame seed-sized) vectors for Lyme disease with extended feeding operations
Dog Tick: Larger brown ticks, carriers of Rocky Mountain spotted fever and tularemia
Lone Star Tick: Identified by white dot on back, causes meat allergies in human hosts through GENETIC REPROGRAMMING
Citizen Advisory: Full-body inspections MANDATORY after any outdoor operations! Proper extraction techniques CRITICAL to prevent pathogen injection!
HOSTILE AGGRESSORS: WASPS
Field Recognition: Yellow and black airborne hostiles with slender bodies, narrow waists, and smooth exoskeletons. Unlike civilian bees, these insurgents can sting MULTIPLE TIMES without casualty to themselves.
Tactical Assessment: Aggressive territorial defenders that construct papery nests in eaves, trees, and underground chambers, capable of mobilizing entire colonies against perceived threats. Their venom delivery systems cause pain, swelling, and potential anaphylaxis in vulnerable citizens.
Notable Species:
Yellowjacket: Ground-nesting scavengers that deploy 4,000+ troops per colony and execute relentless defense protocols when perimeter is breached.
Paper Wasp: Builders of open-comb umbrella nests with smaller squadrons of 20-30 individuals operating beneath eaves and overhangs.
Hornet: Elite heavy units with larger bodies, extremely painful stings, and ability to spray venom at targets from aerial fortress nests.
Citizen Advisory: DO NOT engage established colonies; contact Total Annihilation specialists immediately for superior firepower and tactical expertise.
CHITINOUS INVADERS: COCKROACHES
Field Recognition: Flat, oval bodies, six legs, long antennae. EXTREME survival capabilities including radiation resistance.
Tactical Assessment: The ULTIMATE survival machines. Can live without their heads for WEEKS. Reproduce at ALARMING rates. Vector for DOZENS of pathogens.
Notable Species:
German Cockroach: Small (0.5 inch), light brown. RAPID reproduction rate. PRIMARY DOMESTIC THREAT
American Cockroach: Large (2 inches), reddish-brown. HIGH mobility including LIMITED FLIGHT CAPABILITY
Oriental Cockroach: Dark brown/black, emits FOUL ODOR, prefers damp environments
Citizen Advisory: If you see ONE, assume HUNDREDS are hiding nearby! Their presence is an ACTIVE infestation!
AERIAL BLOODSUCKERS: MOSQUITOES
Field Recognition: Small flying insects with needle-like proboscis, scale-covered wings, and distinctive high-pitched whine during flight operations.
Tactical Assessment: The DEADLIEST creatures on Earth, responsible for over 725,000 human casualties ANNUALLY through disease transmission. Female units are BLOODTHIRSTY ASSASSINS equipped with heat-seeking and CO2-detecting technology to locate human targets.
Notable Species:
Aedes: Aggressive daytime attackers; transmit Zika, dengue, and yellow fever. Identifiable by white stripes
Anopheles: Dawn and dusk specialists, PRIMARY MALARIA VECTORS, recognized by their tilted resting position
Culex: Night operation experts, West Nile virus carriers with distinctive PIERCING attack style
Citizen Advisory: Their breeding grounds must be COMPLETELY DESTROYED! Even a bottle cap of water can harbor HUNDREDS of enemy larvae!
BED-BOUND PARASITES: BED BUGS
Field Recognition: Small (0.25 inch), oval, reddish-brown after feeding. Hide in mattress seams, furniture crevices, and wall cracks.
Tactical Assessment: NOCTURNAL ATTACKERS that feed on human blood. Capable of surviving up to ONE YEAR without feeding. PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE specialists causing anxiety, sleep deprivation, and social isolation.
Tactical Notes: Extraordinarily difficult to eliminate. Can travel through walls, floors, and ceilings to spread throughout structures. RESISTANT to many conventional chemical agents.
Citizen Advisory: IMMEDIATE PROFESSIONAL INTERVENTION REQUIRED! Do NOT attempt to combat these enemies alone!
DISEASE VECTORS: RODENTS
Field Recognition: Larger mammals with incisors, tails, and nocturnal habits. Primary threats include rats and mice.
Tactical Assessment: Carriers of NUMEROUS DISEASES including hantavirus, leptospirosis, and plague. Capable of GNAWING through concrete, lead pipes, and electrical wiring, posing potential FIRE HAZARDS.
Notable Species:
Norway Rat: Large, aggressive, excellent swimmers and burrowers
Roof Rat: Smaller, excellent climbers, prefer elevated nesting
House Mouse: Small but PROLIFIC breeders, producing up to 8 litters annually
Citizen Advisory: Even a SINGLE rodent sighting indicates a larger infestation! ACT IMMEDIATELY!
